When he was six years old, his mother passed away during their return from Madinah. Afterward, he was cared for by his grandfather, Abd al-Muttalib. Two years later, his grandfather also passed away, and his uncle, Abu Talib, became his guardian.

His Youth and Honest Character

As a young man, Muhammad ﷺ worked as a shepherd and later became a successful merchant. Throughout Makkah, he became known as:

• Al-Amin (The Trustworthy)
• As-Sadiq (The Truthful)

Calling People to Islam

For the first three years, the Prophet ﷺ invited people to Islam privately.

The Passing of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
